In this steamy summer weather, here comes Nitrofreeze Cryogenic Solutions from Worcester, Mass., a maker of cyrogenic plastic deflashing and dry ice deburring.
Dry ice deburring uses blocks of dry ice as a non-abrasive media to remove burrs from hard-to-reach areas on the exterior and interior of parts, and cleans cross-holes and slots within the parts. The process is available for most machined and molded parts, especially engineering resins and composites.
Cyrogenic deflashing freezes, tumbles and blasts polycarbonate at the injection molded plastic parts, to remove flash. It also works on rubber and silicone rubber.
Cyrogenic deburring removes burrs created during machining operations on plastics and metal parts.
